Tidung Island Adventure

            I was going to Tidung Island near Jakarta with my scientist club friends. We did so much fun activities. There is a tour guide who guiding us during our holidays in Tidung Island. We are thirteen people, two are my friends, Ojay’s sisters and one is my boy friend.

            3.30 in the morning, my boyfriend pick me up in my rent room and we get on together with others in State University of Jakarta. Exactly, 5.30 we are going to Muara Angke harbor by Angkot and then arrived around 6.30. I don’t like harbor’s smell, so fishy.

We are departed for Tidung Island from there by small boat. All the way there I spend my time to sleep on the boat while my friends stay out the boat to enjoy the morning sun. Time was so short in my dream and finally arrived in Tidung’s harbor. While arrived we going to the inn namely Tepi Pantai which located in the north edge of Tidung Island. The facilities are good enough. We got a tour guide, room to sleep plus bathroom, television, food and bicycle as transportation through the island.

After take some rest to eat and pray, we went to the other port to snorkeling in the sea by small boat. But, I am so sad because my boyfriend’s foot got sting by beach animal’s poison and his foot bulged. But, he still strongly enough to follow the activities. We took some picture together within the sea with some sea fish and coral. We are struggling to get a good picture. It’s so hard though because we have to stability our body, not making sea water bubble, not move or too near the camera. I found it so hard but that’s my first experience to have a picture within the sea not that easy.

We back to the inn around 17.00 and cleaning our self or just take a rest in the room because we still have some activities in the night. When we have a free time, my boyfriend asked me to go out and walk by bike. Finally, we decide to cycle until the other side of the Island. It’s amazed me because only 15 minutes we could walk along the Island.

When we back, barbeque time is set by functionary and all of us having dinner. The activities continue by circle check and sharing. We talk too much until 3 o’clock in the morning. Totally tiring… fiuuhhhh…. XD
