Group Reunion

Hari ini kurang lebih melelahkan seperti biasanya. Semua tugas-tugas terasa menumpuk karena sempat gue tinggal beberapa hari ke garut demi mengadakan reunian kecil-kecilan besama teman PPIK Charlottetown-Cikandang 2013. Alhamdulilah Gue, Anissa, Dea, Sufi, Karim dan Josh bisa kembali bertandang di sela-sela kegiatan anak-anak PPIK 2014 di acara Garut Grand Festival (GGF). Selain itu, beberapa  alumni yang lain juga hadir, sungguh berkesan.

How lovely Cikandang! Setiap kali mengunjungi rumah Host Family kita tahun lalu, kita pasti di tawarin buat makan. Kalau gue sih suka banget makan makanan di Cikandang karena makanannya Fresh, sama seperti udaranya yang sejuk. Gue gak henti-hentinya mengayunkan kedua tangan gue, mengibarkan sejuknya udara Cikandang. Walau disela-sela perjalanan kadang ada sedikit bau yang tidak mengenakkan tercium hidung. Baunya berasal dari kandang sapi atau kambing milik warga. Tapi, tetap saja lebih baik dari pada bau sampah di Jakarta.

Gue ketemu lagi sama Orang Tua gue di Garut. Alhamdulillah, mereka dalam keadaan sehat wal’afiat. Gue biasa memanggil mereka Papap dan Mama. Tahun ini alhamdulillah juga, mereka telah melaksanakan ibadah Haji di tanah suci. Rasa bahagia tidak mampu terungkapkan ketika mendengarkan betapa mulusnya perjalanan mereka di sana. Hanya saja, sekarang mereka hanya tinggal berdua. Ketiga anak mereka sudah memiliki keluarga dan tinggal di kediamannya masing-masing. Jadi, harapan mereka tinggal dua nih! Gue dan Fanny. Fanny juga kangen sama mereka dan pengen kembali lagi suatu hari nanti ke Renteng. Iyalah Fanny, gue sedih kalau tidur sendirian. Biasanya lo selalu ada di samping gue kalo di Cikandang.

Well, Eventhough we cannot meet in Cikandang this year. We could still express our longing here. Because, we are have a good bonding enough. We are always trying hard to understand each other.

For the next two hours, we would love you to explore Charlottetown. Be friendly, courteous, and adventurous! Ask people questions, introduce yourself, and have fun. Below is a list of places we have suggested that you discover with your team. We also invite you to discover your own places. Each tram has a disposable camera with 39 exposures pictures available. So go wild! Use all of the exposures! The photos will developed over the week-end and on Monday we will give you the hard copies. We will also have all the photos digitally on a disk so you can share them on Facebook and through email. Check off where you have been, have people take pictures of your team at the location or with someone, and be ready to share your experiences! Enjoy your Day and have fun!

I would search the other photos then. I remember that our mission wasn't complete because of the rain. That's why I upload the other picture which not taken by Tyler's camera for some match place.

Thank you so much for Tyler Colbourne and Andiko Wibisono who manage this memorial event for us. We would forget this lovely time that you've raised.

Transportation to PEI national park :
Meet at thé box offiçe entrance of thé confédération centre at 6:50 am.
Note : that there are two buses marked for gear; three buses returning to Charlottetown. All of thé participants should get on one of thé three buses returning to Charlottetown. There should be à sign in thé window of thé bus that they should take (read "Canada World Youth Volunteers, but you should check with bus drivers if you don't see à sign.

Thé buses départ at 7:00 am. Once thé buses stop at brackley to let thé racers off, kara Grant will get on thé bus to do a rôle Call and let you know where you're getting off.

thé bus will continue to thé water stations along thé route to drop off thé Volunteers. À parks Canada employée Will be at Each location to meet thé CWY Volunteers that are working with thèm.
