I was remembered about my new senior in University State of Jakarta. I met a senior who interviewed me for major, Japenese language. He gave me two paper sheets to fills out. One paper sheet has some question to be answer. One question that I still remember most is, “what would we change for Jakarta at first?”
Ya… Jakarta as first city in Indonesia has a lot and bunch problem such as poverty, criminality, traffic jam, pollution or even the government itself. I really love Jakarta for exactly but the only thing that I wish could disappear quickly is GARBAGE.
We could find garbage everywhere in Jakarta even when we in the best area instead. It is not because of the system doesn’t work well for the citizen but it’s about the human who life in there.
I said something like that doesn’t mean I judge the problem caused from the human only. Both of system even human should be connected each other to create a balance.
Some of people already know the fact that throwing garbage to the garbage bin is the best. In other hand, “system” couldn’t make it easy. Most of Indonesian prefers throwing their garbage as soon as after they use it. In this situation, we cannot lie that Indonesia has no technique to place the garbage bin in the certainly spot. I often found lots of flower in vase garden died or even undetected anymore because of the garbage. A scene which full of garbage is also commonplace along water barrage.
We certainly focusing our vision to build and build the main thing only such as education, social, politic, culture etc. Nowadays, we totally forget to build the garbage last discharge up.
Well, today I probably just said about it without a real action from me. But I believe in other day I’ve work on it and at least someone read my opinion and has the same thought with me and they will continue what I did after.
